Little Steelware products are made for everyday family use, but like all baby and toddler products, they should be used with care and adult supervision.

Please read the care instructions included with each product before use.

Before first use

Wash all products thoroughly before first use.

Check all parts before each use and discontinue use if you notice cracks, damage, weakness, sharp edges or loose parts.

General stainless steel care

Wash before first use

Dry thoroughly before storing
Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool
Do not use damaged products
Do not place stainless steel items in the microwave unless the product is specifically labelled microwave-friendly

Our products are 304-grade stainless steel, which is durable, corrosion-resistant, easy to clean and resistant to lingering smells and stains, making it a practical choice for everyday feeding, lunch packing and food storage.

Silicone & plastic care

Where products include silicone and/or plastic components:

Wash before first use
Check regularly for signs of wear or damage
Do not use if torn, cracked or weakened
Dry thoroughly before storing
Keep away from sharp objects where possible

All silicone/plastic components used in our range are BPA-free and phthalate-free.

Dishwasher guidance

Most Little Steelware products are dishwasher safe, but care instructions vary by product.

Please check the individual product page or included care leaflet for specific dishwasher guidance.

Microwave guidance

Only use products in the microwave if they are specifically labelled as microwave-friendly.

Our microwave-friendly stainless steel food containers are designed for reheating according to the included care instructions.

When using microwave-friendly containers:

Open the silicone vent before reheating
Do not use in grill, oven or convection modes
Do not microwave empty
Use care when removing, as outside may be hot
Always follow the included care instructions

Do not microwave standard stainless steel bottles, bowls, plates, cutlery, lunch boxes, straws or chopping boards.

Baby and toddler safety

Little Steelware baby and toddler products are designed for everyday family use and should always be used with adult supervision.

Feeding & Drinking Safety

Never leave babies or children unattended while eating or drinking.
Always ensure children are seated safely during meals and snacks.
Do not allow children to walk, run or play while using bottles, cups, straws, cutlery or feeding products.
Always check food and drink temperature before serving.
Stainless steel may become hot when used with warm foods or liquids. Always check temperature before giving to a child.

Baby Bottle & Teat Safety

Always feed babies under adult supervision.
Never prop a bottle or leave a baby to self-feed.
Always hold your baby during bottle feeding.
Check milk temperature before every feed.
Inspect the teat before each use by gently pulling it in all directions.
Discard the teat at the first sign of damage, weakness, tearing, thinning or change in texture.
Only use Little Steelware teats with the Little Steelware Stainless Steel Baby Bottle.
Choose a teat flow suitable for your baby’s age, feeding stage and comfort.
Replace teats regularly for hygiene and safety.
Do not leave teats in direct sunlight, heat or sterilising solution for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the material.

Suction Products

Suction products should be used only on clean, smooth, flat surfaces.
Suction strength may vary depending on the surface and product use.
Always check suction products are secure before serving food.

Product Use Notes

Inspect teats, straws, lids, silicone parts and removable components before each use.
Discontinue use immediately if any part shows signs of damage, weakness, tearing, cracking, thinning, sharp edges or wear.
Use each product only for its intended purpose and recommended age/stage guidance.
Do not let children chew on straws, teats, lids, silicone parts or cutlery.
Baby bottles and feeding products must be assembled by an adult before use.
Always check that the teat, collar, lid and all removable parts are securely fitted before feeding.
Do not use feeding products as toys.
Keep all loose parts and packaging away from babies and children.
Do not use stainless steel products in the microwave unless the product is specifically labelled microwave-friendly.
